Before I tell you why you are wrong, allow me to first tell you why you are right!
I know I have my husband to thank for the joy that I have found in video games. After all it was him that introduced me to the marvelous game called Halo.
Granted I believe he had ulterior motives in doing so. 1) If I play games then maybe I won’t mind if he played games more and 2) so that he could wipe the floor with me.
And he did. A lot.
But then a strange thing happened…..I got good.
I began kicking his butt along with anyone who crossed my path. And not just in Halo, oh no, in any game with a gun. I know, I know, you’re wondering what does this have to do with men being wrong. Well allow me to explain.
You see once I began to rule the online world, just kidding, I didn’t rule, but I was pretty good; my husband stopped playing these type of games. I won’t tell you why, but I am pretty sure you can figure it out. Okay fine I will tell you, he got tired of getting his butt kicked.
The games he plays now……RPG or open world RPG, like Skyrim, Fallout and Oblivion.
So men this is where I tell you, you’re wrong.
Gaming is not the problem, but the type of games you play is. What happened to playing games with straight up no holds bar action?
Now you play games where you hardly meet an enemy, where you wonder around aimlessly from one side of the world to another in order to complete a task for some character you met along the way.
The games you play now have more animals than people.
I just don’t get it. I don’t see the fascination in playing games where you are more likely to fall asleep than meet an enemy. What is the point in creating and leveling up all these weapons if you hardly ever get to use them?
So guys you are right in playing games you’re just playing the wrong ones.
Now I know that I will cause an uproar with this one and I also know that not all men play these type of games—so to you I say keep the action coming!!

You’re right, Danielle. We’re wrong. But, consider for a moment that we are not embarrassed to lose to you. There is nothing dishonorable about losing to a girl. A foul-mouthed thirteen-year-old hiding behind the anonymity of the internet, however. Well, that just sucks.
