If you remember Zack and what he was all about you’ll be the right age to know how awesome this is. Lego now has a way for people to submit possible toy lines. Their Cuusoo project works like everything else these days—votes. People submit an idea and, if it gets enough votes, Lego reviews the idea and decides if it’s worth making for real.

The latest project to get approval is a Back to the Future Lego line. We’ll see the whole thing in 2013 but here is the contributor's proof of concept.

If you don’t know who Drew Struzan is, he’s the guy that drew that movie poster in the 80’s. Yes, that one. All of them. Remember your favorite movie poster and he did it.
This week I learned the a lot of the original art is for sale. Unfortunately, the Back to the Future and Big Trouble in Little China work is already sold but if you’ve got a spare hundred grand lying around you can pickup the Better Off Dead piece or Cannonball Run and that is awesome.
It’s definitely worth poking around his site.

Oh those legos are awesome!! We are huge Lego fans in our house, and think I was excited about seeing teenage mutant ninja turtle legos. Yeah so does not compare!!!
